Upside down 3D Art House

We-fie
Front of Upside Down House

"Upside down 3D Art House,"
This place is just 3 minutes from Professor Cendol. It's open everyday from 9am-10pm . At first, we had difficulties to find this place because we couldn't see any signboard here, we just depend on google maps. It's in the same row of other shop lots, that makes it hard for us to recognize it because the name of the house is hung so high not within our eye levels. This place is a nice spot for tourists to have plenty memorable pictures. The normal adult price is RM25 but if you have a student card you will get it at RM10 only per person.

IOI Mall

Waterfront in front of IOI Mall, Kulai

Our we-fie after shopping

" IOI Mall "
The first shopping mall in Kulai strategically located within the northern growth corridor of Johor Bahru. Three- level Mall, operate from 10am to 10pm every day. It's a humongous mall, a good place to shop there aren't t00 many people here, you can shop in peace. We stroll around the mall for few hours and do some shopping. Good outlets such as YFS, Mr.DIY, Starbuck and etc. Huge parking space and clean mall. If you prefer to eat comfortably in the aircond, there are a lot of fast food restaurants inside. Especially for the Muslim tourists because it's hard to find a convenient Malay and Halal restaurant around Kulai, seems that the city is mostly dominated by the Chinese.

Pulai Mountain

Before we started our exploration

Waterfall recreation area
“ Pulai Mountain
It’s a long journey to get there, on our left and right we will probably see all the mountain, farm, and Felda along the road. Once we arrived there, we saw a huge arch at the main entrance of the village. To get to the mountain we have to go through the village and there are also a few food stalls owned by the villagers at the foothill. We parked our car somewhere nearby the mountain entrance. 15 minutes after we started walking, we were amazed by the beauty of the waterfall and nature. There’s a beautiful waterfall inside there. Some people were swimming, picnic, some people were hiking and lots of monkeys swinging from tree to tree. After an hour strolling around the mountain, we had our breakfast at one of the villager stalls. It's very cheap and tasty, a plate of Fried Noodle+Nescafe only cost you RM 3.20. Where on earth nowadays you can get that price, right? Do check out their website or TripAdvisor  to get more info.

Starfish Leisure Farm

With Ms. Lau owner of Star Fish Leisure Farm

Floating Homestay

Starfish Leisure Farm
This farm is located quite far from the city it is in a rural area. There's only one sign at the front to get to this area, we just depend on waze, and the road along the way to the farm is rough, small and wasn't really convenient but its worth our journey as soon as we arrived there. They have Kampung stilt houses , floating chalet and also numerous water obstacle activities. They provide team building package, but you have to come in a team of 10 minimum. What excited us, is the activity provide there. Such as, Visit the fish farm/Cycle /row a boat /fish(with own equipment)/ fish feeding /play ping pong etc. The ambiance there is so peaceful, we enjoy the sound of nature. Great place for your kids to take their hands off their gadgets for the time being. They kept the place very clean and dry.

Putou Village

Wishing Trees- Let's make a wish

In front of Buddhist Temple

"Putou Village"

Is a spiritual sanctuary for every soul seeker and people fatigue with the hectic lifestyle. This is one of the Buddhist pilgrimages in Malaysia with the characteristic combination of Buddism, charity, and leisure. A very big village in the middle of the Felda area which contains the temple, bamboo garden, a vegetarian restaurant, an old folk nursing home. It took us approximately 20 munites from Kulai town to get here. We have to go through Felda Plantation area to get to this place. This place is not only open for Buddhist but also for the public visitor but we have to respect the culture or whatever religious ceremony that they held here. As we arrived here we saw a huge open gate welcoming us. Then upon entering, would notice the quiet, calm environment and the fresh air. The bamboo section is a great place to relax and cool off. We were amazed by the architecture of the temple, it's like something reflecting the China Empire. They also have the repentant path and special wishing trees. As Muslims, we did nothing other than trying to understand and learn the culture and took some memorable pictures there. The uniqueness of this place really captured our eyes, as it's something different from out believes. It's not so many people here. The place is clean and neat. We can see the peacock and the turtle everywhere because according to Buddhist they are the sacred animals.

One of the famous shopping mall in Kulai district. It’s open everyday from 10am-10pm. JPO have lot’s of luxurious premium brands outlet inside. So, we do some window shopping here because we couldn’t afford to buy anything there except at the Vincci, Cotton On and Rubi outlets. As for someone who have more budget, your eyes will open very big when you see the price of your favorite branded items become affordable. You can shop till you drop! There are shops like Adidas, Kate spade, Victoria secret, Nike, Coach, Burberry and lots more. As for the food court, it's at ground floor. Not much variety but still okay.
