A plate of  "Daging Salai Masak Lemak" topped with "Sambal Belacan"

"Belanga Warisan Restaurant"
One of the famous lunch spots for foodies that have been viral on Facebook. So as soon as we arrived Kulai we had our lunch here.  What so special is that they offer 30 Malay traditional dishes. Such as Daging salai masak lemak cili api, Patin masak tempoyak, Udang galah, Siput sedut, Telur itik masak lemak, Soto warisan, Asam pedas and etc. So we had the best "Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api" ever! Overall, the restaurant is quite clean, tip-top service, reasonable price, lot of parking space and delicious dished, I bet you ! But one tip to remind, don't come too late, after lunch hour or the food will be finished at anytime . The restaurant open at 7.30 am- 6.00pm every day and close on Friday only.

Profesor Cendol

Profesor Cendol Restaurant

 Profesor Cendol signature dishes

We were having our Hi-Tea at Profesor Cendol

The name itself so tempting and so does the Cendol! it's so refreshing, creamy and sweet. We get to know this place from Facebook and from the word of mouth. They are not only selling Cendol, but they also have the best Penang Laksa, Rojak Buah, Pasembor and Fried Rice. They operate from 10am-6.00pm. The best part is we can refill another bowl of Cendol and Laksa for free, that's mean we only pay once and we can eat as much as we want. One bowl of Cendol only cost us RM5, and it's so worth it! But remember, do not come too late because we can't guarantee the taste of the Cendol will remain fresh till evening, seems that Cendol is made up from coconut milk.

Nasi Lemak Wak Kentut

The tempting Nasi Lemak with crispy chicken, spicy sambal, fresh cucumber slices, fried anchovies and ground nut sprinkles

"Nasi Lemak Wak Kentut"
One of the most famous food stalls in Kulai. This stall is so popular since age and it's has been viral for several times on social media. It serves the best nasi lemak with fried crispy chicken and sambal. It also has small satay stall and Coconut Jelly. This stall is always full house so we have to queue due to a large number of people who came to taste the Wak Kentut's Nasi Lemak. This stall has been operated for 30 years, and it does not only serve the Malay, but also the Chinese and Indian to be their regular customers. We had trouble finding a parking space because the stall is located by the roadside and most of the space is full of the customer cars. Very fast service, we can choose the part of the chicken. The rice is very tasty full of coconut milk flavor. The price is quite cheap and worth paying because all of us were so satisfied with the Nasi Lemak and the stall environment. It operates everyday from 3.30 pm -12.00am.

Azilah Restaurant

Gerai Makan Azilah, Kulai

Signature dishes " Siakap sambal &  siput sedut berapi"

Self-services

"Gerai Makan Azilah"
This restaurant located by the roadside. It's food court actually with plenty of food vendors. We decided to go here because we heard about their best signature dish "Siput Sedut Berapi". We get to know this place from Facebook. We had a bowl of siput sedut berapi for RM5, Siakap Bakar for RM10, Asam pedas Johor RM 3(slice), Babat Masak Lemak RM3 a bowl, Ayam kicap tradisi for RM 3 and all the ulam and vegetables for RM 1 each. Worth isn't? We were so contented with all the menus and price. It's so marvelous!!! the real taste of Malay cuisine. It's clean but lot's of people here especially during lunchtime. So we have to wait for others to get our sits but it worth waiting. It's self-service, so it's quite jammed inside the restaurant because everyone was queuing to get their food, so you have come early if you don't want to have a long queue.

Gerobok Pisang

Gerobok Pisang Cafe
Hi-Tea with Mango cendol and Durian cendol

Gerobok Pisang"
Having our high-tea at a cozy restaurant. We had our best Cendol here, Cendol special, Mango Cendol and Durian Cendol. For a regular cendol, it cost only RM5. But for Mango and Durian cendol it cost us around RM8 per bowl top with ice cream. The taste of the cendol was not bad at all, we can feel the freshness of the coconut milk, Cendol jelly and the brown sugar. They also have “Talam western set” and shell out sets here at a very reasonable price. We do enjoy our cendols but to find the place was quite hard. Because the google map was bringing us to the wrong direction and then we have to call the owner to get the exact location. It’s just the same row with other shop lots.
